First Blog Sept 1 2012

This is my first try at blogging.  I am a student of WKU in Bowling Green Ky.  I have decided to return to school and finish my degree since all of my children have entered school and it's time for me to do something for myself.  I have supported my husband while he has grown in his career and helped my children with more than a fair share of homework.  Now it is my time.  Time for me to grow and find a career I can list alongside the title of "Wonderful mom" and "adoring wife".  While I am very proud of these titles and could want no less. I still have a spot in my heart to help other children that may not have the support that my children received.  My family is a rarity today.  Sometimes children in our school system are raising themselves and a listening ear and a little caring can help them go farther in life.  If you know a child that could use a hug a day just give it.
